How much will it cost?

Please see our pricing table for further details of our prices.

Do check your private medical insurance that you may have either through your employer, or your own personal policy, as you may be entitled to receive money towards the cost of the treatment.

Is there an age limit?

Anyone over the age of 18 years old can choose to see a therapist. If you are under the age of 18, we highly recommend that you speak to your GP as soon as possible in order for you to get the best support for your needs. There is no upper age limit.

Will you, as my therapist, respect my individual needs?

We always treat you as a unique individual and we will certainly be aware of and respect diversity around issues of age, gender, sexual identity, religion, disability and/or race. Because, we are also located on a quiet street in Sitges, we have the privileged position of being able to offer a very discreet and private practice, which some of our more high profile clients appreciate.

How do I know my therapy is ethical?

As a longstanding member of numerous professional bodies, you have the security of knowing that we have been verified by the likes of the BACP, which means that my qualifications, training and experience has all been rigorously checked. We are governed by a Code of Ethics. Should you choose another therapist, please do check their credentials to ensure that they have been certified by a sound authority.

What is psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy aims to help you gain a better understanding of the issues that are troubling you. It can help you work out new ways of approaching situations that you find difficult, as well as suggesting new methods to help you cope. Developing a trusting relationship with your psychotherapist is very important, and will help you to talk about long-standing problems. However, developing trust can take time. Depending on the issue and the style of psychotherapy, some treatment courses may need to last for several months or, in some cases, years.

What is counselling?

Counselling is a type of talking therapy that allows a person to talk about their problems and feelings in a confidential and dependable environment. As trained practitioners, we work with people over a short, or longer term, to help our clients bring about effective change, or enhance their well being.

How long is a session?

An individual session will usually take 50 minutes. In some cases a session can take longer, but we will discuss this with you in advance.

It all depends on the presenting conditions of our clients and this is the reason why we talior our services specifically to them because eveyone is an individual.

Also, with numerous private health insurance plans, there are ways in which your treatment can be subsidised, or even paid for in full. We also will look at specific cases in which we can charge on a sliding scale of affordability.
